MQS Hungary Kft has been active in the home healthcare market and in the neighboring countries since 2011. Our activities are mostly centered on the service and maintenance tasks of large hospital installations (linear accelerators, CT's, MRI equipment, imaging equipment, etc.), the related parts supply and the implementation of any necessary developments and acquisitions.

In addition, another very important activity of ours in connection with the acquisitions of medical equipment-instruments is consulting independent of brand, during which we search for the most suitable equipment according to customer needs, we participate in price negotiations, as required, or if there is need for it we also solve the completion of complicated purchases. Our activities provide an opportunity to purchase in one package equipment with completely different profile (e.g. simultaneously with equipping a gynecological outpatient clinic the purchase of radiology equipment accessories and ear, nose and throat equipment). The devices potentially offered by us range from those with lower prices up to the high-end equipment offered by the biggest manufacturers.

We lay special emphasis on raising awareness of new and innovative solutions in the Hungarian market. Therefore, we have extensive contacts among manufacturers in Hungary, Europe and Asia; we visit regularly the medical exhibitions and fairs.

Mission

Our mission is to support the work of our customers who are in contact with us in an individualized manner and with the activities of local professionals to help them for the sake of optimizing the costs and level of service, whether it is complex advisory-expert consulting, acquisition or service tasks.

Our philosophy 

As a technology consulting company we follow and support our clients during the selection of a device or devices that best meets the needs of the client as well as by our participation as an advisory in the preliminary negotiations the over- or under-calibrated specification (and pricing) of equipment purchase can be avoided. In the course of our work in addition to the purchase price we also keep in mind the expected costs of the operation of the unit (air conditioning, maintenance needs, etc) for the client to see the associated costs for the entire life cycle of device.

Our history

The company started its operation in 2011 basically by the servicing of linear accelerator equipment. Over the last four years we have steadily expanded our activities and our products range, resulting in an annual company turnover in excess of HUF 100 million.

Major milestones:

  • 2011: incorporation of the companyOctober 2011: service contract for the Department of Oncoradiology of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Teaching Hospital Miskolc
  • January 2012: service contract for the Department of Radiotherapy of Kosovo University Clinical Center
  • March 2012: direct digital imaging system in the portfolio
  • June 2012: service agreement for the linear accelerators of the Oncology Department of Vologda County Hospital
  • March 2013: full-service support for the Department of Oncoradiology of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Teaching Hospital (3 linear accelerators, CT simulator, conventional simulator, IT system and servicing of HVAC system)
  • July 2013, relocation of an imaging device (DSA) with de- and reinstallation and application training.
  • March 2014: equipping of Tomotherapy unit with a patient fixation system
  • May 2014: change of management
  • 2015: service contract in Turkmenistan (Centre of Oncology Radiotherapy Department)
  • Oncovision and Theracion Echopulse products in the portfolio
  • In 2017 installation of Cyberknife system in the National Institute of Oncology of Hungary in consortium with Stargen EU.
  • In 2019 dismantling, removing, packaging 2 Siemens linear accelerators in BAZ Country Hospital in Miskolc Hungary
